Dover Night Out 2011
Thursday July 21st
The Dover Coalition for Youth, in partnership with the Dover Police Department,
is happy to announce that Dover Night Out will be held this year on
Thursday July 21, 2011 (rain date August
4) at Henry Law Park in downtown Dover from 4:00-9:30pm.
The Coalition hosts this event to
demonstrate the power and value of community partnerships in promoting healthy
youth and families.
Dover Night Out is a free, fun-filled event for people of all ages in a tobacco,
alcohol and drug free environment.
By hosting this event, the Coalition hopes to increase awareness of substance
abuse issues in the community, and inspire community members to help create a
drug free community. It is our goal
to raise sufficient support to have an event that will include:

Displays from police, military and fire agencies.
·
Public Safety demonstrations;
·
Health, Wellness and Safety related displays.
·
Dance, martial arts and other entertainment.
·
Free children’s activities and games including giant inflatable slides and
jumpers.
·
Live music by All Together Now and other local musicians on three stages.
·
FIREWORKS over the river at 9:00 pm!
